Starting From The Ground Up

There are numerous considerations that come into play when building a new home. Let me guide you through the build process and represent your best interests.

Location and Builder

When starting the building process, there are two ways my buyers begin, either they have found their ideal location or have identified an architect or builder that suits their style and budget.

If you’ve identified your location, I will work to connect you with builders in the area and identify neighborhoods and specifications within your budget and home criteria.

Already found your dream architect, floor plan or builder? Great! Now let’s find the best lot for your dream home. When building a new home, there’s a whole lot that goes into lot selection. I will work extensively to find the perfect lot, location and development for your dream home. I will also work to manage the negotiations with representatives for your builder or development.

Execute

Showings when building a home are a bit different than buying an existing structure. Let’s put on our imagination caps and have some fun. Working with either your existing plans or pairing you with a builder that fits your aesthetics, I will help you find the best lot (and builder if necessary) for your new home build.

Offer & Negotiate

Found the lot and builder? Congrats! It is time to put ink on the dotted line.

When building a new home, it’s important you are aware of the differences in the purchase process. I will work to guide you through this process and ensure you get the most for your money. Also, I will make sure you have a clear understanding of the differences in financing and closing a new construction build.

Close

When building a new structure, the best part is handing over the keys. From my experience working with clients building homes, this process can be even more exciting than closing on an existing structure. I will work to provide a seamless closing so you can finally enjoy all the efforts that went into the process of building your new home, from choosing cabinet pulls to appliances.
